I’m going to be speaking at the Games Funding Forum in London on the 23rd October 2014.
I originally pitched the talk to Develop but was offered this slot instead. It’s worked out well as the talk lines up pretty well with the event, it’s all about funding. Here’ the blurb:
In this session, Tim describes how he managed to convert the lessons he learnt from his first game’s disappointing sales into development funding for his next big idea. Along the way, he guides us through the process of securing external finance, explaining what types are available, where to look for potential investors and how to pitch and negotiate for the best deal. Finally, he examines the pros and cons to having external finance and attempts to answer the question: Does having a publisher stop you being indie?
